About Discovery Preschool
Discovery Preschool at VHM Christian School provides a caring and engaging environment where young children can begin their educational journey with confidence. Our program encourages curiosity, creativity, and social development through hands-on activities, guided exploration, and meaningful interactions with teachers and classmates. In our small and supportive setting, every child is known, valued, and encouraged to grow.
As a faith-based preschool, we also introduce children to Christian values in age-appropriate ways through stories, songs, prayer, and positive character development. Our goal is to nurture both the heart and the mind, helping children develop strong social skills, early academic foundations, and a joyful love for learning that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond.

Two-Year-Old Program
Our Two-Year-Old Program provides a nurturing introduction to school in a safe and caring environment. At this stage, young learners begin developing important social and emotional skills through guided play, exploration, and interaction with teachers and classmates. The program focuses on helping children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about learning.
This program is designed for younger learners who are still developing independence and may not yet be fully potty-trained. Children remain in the two-year-old session until they are fully potty-trained, allowing them to grow at their own pace while receiving the care and support they need during these early developmental years.
Half-Day Preschool (Ages 3–5)
Our Half-Day Preschool program offers a structured morning learning experience designed to support early academic readiness and social development. Children engage in age-appropriate activities that build foundational skills in language, early math concepts, creativity, and problem-solving while learning through play and guided instruction.
During the morning session, students participate in hands-on activities, stories, songs, and outdoor play while also being introduced to positive character development and Christian values. This program is ideal for families seeking a balanced preschool experience that prepares children for kindergarten while maintaining a flexible daily schedule.
Full-Day Preschool (Ages 3–5)
The Full-Day Preschool program provides a complete early learning experience that supports both academic growth and social development throughout the day. Students participate in engaging learning activities, creative play, and structured instruction that help build the foundational skills needed for kindergarten readiness.
With a longer school day, children have additional time for exploration, outdoor activities, friendships, and hands-on learning experiences. This program is especially helpful for families needing extended care while ensuring that children spend their day in a supportive environment where they can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Hands-On Learning
Children engage in age-appropriate activities that introduce early literacy, numbers, creativity, and problem-solving. Through guided exploration and interactive lessons, students build important foundational skills while developing curiosity and confidence.
Play & Outdoor Exploration
Play is an essential part of early childhood learning. Students enjoy outdoor time, creative play, and opportunities to explore their surroundings while building friendships and strengthening social skills.
Faith & Character
Faith is gently woven into the daily routine through songs, stories, and simple lessons about kindness, respect, and caring for others. These experiences help children begin developing positive character and a sense of belonging in a loving community.
Tuition & Program Schedule
Discovery Preschool offers flexible program options designed to meet the needs of families with young children. Tuition varies based on the number of days per week and whether families choose a full-day or half-day program.

Start by completing the Discovery Preschool application form. Once finished, download the application with your information included so it can be submitted for review.
Submit Your Application
Email your completed application to the school office at principal@vhmchristian.org. After reviewing your application, our team will follow up with the next steps for enrollment.
