Teaching Experience:

My journey in Adventist education began in 1997 at a one-teacher school, where I served in both teaching and administrative roles. Later, I spent 8 years at a K-12 school in various teaching roles in 3rd through 12th grade.  I was then called to be principal at our sister school in Hollister for the next 4 years. For the past 15 years, I have taught 4th and 6th grades, developing a STEM program and a successful robotics program. As vice principal, I also worked on curriculum development and school safety policies.

I have taught in all grade levels from Kindergarten through 12th grade throughout my career as an educator, sponsoring overnight trips, day trips, and serving as an instructor during outdoor education experiences.

I deeply believe in the transformative power of Adventist education, focusing on nurturing the whole person – spiritually, mentally, and physically. I am committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive and discover their purpose.

I believe that all children can learn. They may approach problem-solving differently, but all children can harness their own strengths to learn and thrive.

VHM Goals:

VHM Christian School has a long history of strong educational presence in this community. It has fostered many lifelong friendships among children and continues to receive strong support from current parents and alumni. I am excited to be part of this amazing experience. I truly believe that VHM is the best place to prepare our children to become lifelong learners and develop a true relationship with Jesus!
