VHM Christian School

Academic Bio:
I graduated from Pacific Union College in 2018 with my B.S. in Liberal Studies. Prior to that, for elementary and high school, I attended both public and private schools and was homeschooled the rest of my years before college!
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that every child is unique, important and has God-given gifts that make our world a better place. I enjoy bringing out those talents and expanding the use of them through exploring, creating, laughing, reading, and building strong foundations for their upcoming school years. In my classroom, I strive to aid my students on a path of learning to grow the whole child by meeting their individual academic and social needs while guiding them in their relationship with Jesus. The Golden Rule is at the forefront of my educational philosophy and Jesus’ teachings are central to my Kindergarten teaching style. My classroom is designed to cultivate learning independence and striving for an, “I CAN DO IT!”, positive self-image in the classroom and beyond!
