A Heart for Teaching, A Passion for Christ

It is my mission to see that each child does their best and to know that I’m there for them each step of the way. I have several goals as I teach: I want my students to feel loved, cared for, and to know that there is a purpose to what they are learning. I want them to learn to love Jesus more and more each day, and to know without a doubt that He loves them.

Adventist schools are a place where students are nurtured in faith and character, body and mind, preparing them for a useful and joy-filled life. That’s why I choose to teach in an SDA school—where faith and learning grow together in a Christ-centered environment.

In my personal time, I enjoy quiet walks, gardening, traveling, and talking to people. One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
